Neil Richardson
CUNY Sustainability Project Manager
Sustainable CUNY is a comprehensive program to minimize CUNY’s impact on the environment and integrate sustainable practices into the operations and educational programs of the University. Neil’s role is to coordinate and support efforts across the university to realize these objectives.
Neil has a B.A. in Political Science from University of Reading (U.K.) and has worked in project management for the not-for-profit, education, and sports rights sectors. He is also a qualified journalist and language teacher. His interest in sustainability began whilst working on a World Bank program in Indonesia to micro-finance solar systems for off-grid communities. Neil joined CUNY in 2008, after working as a consultant for renewable energy firm, Rickerson Energy Strategies.
